Through donations, collaboration and volunteerism the Tower aims to enrich the lives of others through aid in research in selected fields, promotion of education and leadership and the overall enhancement of the quality of life for children, seniors and other at-risk populations.

The Tower Fund's primary focus is on the funding of:

  • Programs focused on care and research of serious and / or Long-term illnesses, injuries or death
  • Educational and charitable organizations that contribute to the better quality of life and education for children and / or seniors living in the community
  • Direct relief for those suffering from hardship resulting from natural or other disasters

The Tower Trust concentrates its efforts on primarily helping the community in and around the Washington, DC and related areas.

Funding Priorities are referred to the group by its members. Each priority is investigated by the Fund's Board of Directors to determine:

  • If the program meet the Fund's mandate
  • The level and type of assistance the proposed priority necessitates
  • How much assistance the Fund can provide
Those organizations and programs that meet the Fund's guidelines are presented and voted on by the Board of Directors. Funding typically takes place once a year, however, in cases of hardship or natural disaster needs the Board can approve immediate aid.
